New Tea Flavors Added

New Loose Leaf Tea

We added a few more tea flavors to our store today. We have a large variety of tea available in our online store, and to help you narrow down the selection we put together a few warm and cozy flavors to get you started with some ideas for the cold season. These all ship from our store in the charming village of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin just outside of Madison.

Christmas Candy Cane Tea

Amongst our new types of loose leaf tea you’ll find Candy Cane black tea. Just like it sounds, this is a true seasonal treat! It’s only in stock during the winter holiday season, and we usually sell out. Take a taste here. Other great gift ideas for tea lovers are our selection of gift boxes and tea subscriptions. Loose leaf tea subscriptions can be monthly or every other month.

Kukicha Japanese Green Tea

Kukicha is made from the stems instead of the leaves of the tea plant. It’s lower in caffeine and astringency than other green teas. The flavor is bright, grassy, and vegetal, which is iconic of very good Japanese green teas. If you like Kukicha you might also like this rather lovely Sencha from Shizuoka, Japan.

Lapsang Souchong Smoky Black Tea

This tea is something else entirely! When we say it’s smoky, we mean it’s very smoky. Literally, it has been pine smokes. Drinkers of scotch tend to love this black tea. Lapsang Souchong is also fun to experiment with in cooking soups, stews, and casserole recipes. If you like that great grilled flavor and don’t want to grill outside right now, Lapsang Souchong is an easy way to achieve that flavor effect.
